  Dishonest sales staff, poor customer service. Bought a new Toyota Corolla in 2012. I asked to get it undercoated and to please do a good job as this vehicle will be travelling up north where there is lots of salt on the roads. The day after I got it home I checked the undercoating and was surprised to find out there were spots missing underneath. I called and talked to Darren, he told me that their installer has 30+ years experience and that wasn't possible it was probably just plastic parts that weren't supposed to be covered. Brought it down to Nanaimo Toyota, they got it up on the car hoist and sure enough there was an imprint where Alberni's installer didn't bother to move the hoist when he was spraying. This was even after I asked them to do a good job! Had to drive it back to Port Alberni to get them to redo it.

  Great vehicles and great service. My family has purchased two vehicles from Alberni Toyota - my mother purchased one in 2008 and I purchased one in 2011. Years later, both vehicles are still very reliable and are running great. Neither has required anything other than routine maintenance.

  Recently, we encountered an issue with an extended warranty insurance we had purchased along with one of the vehicles. We contacted the dealership and explained the difficulties we were having with the warranty provider, they listened and the general manager himself stepped in to help us resolve the issue. We appreciated being well taken care of by the dealership as well as by our vehicles. They have our recommendation!

  Very impressed with all areas of service. Every business claims they have excellent customer service but Alberni Toyota truly does.
